Coping Skills for Sight Loss

Need help dealing with sight loss such as that caused by macular degeneration? Crowell Public Library is partnering with the Braille Institute in presenting four seminars that will address all your questions related to managing daily life with low sight. October 8: Understanding visual loss for families; presentations on macular degeneration and low vision. October 15: The business of life: presentation from California Telephone Access Program and Sound Solutions; organizing and identifying money; marking and labeling household items. October 22: Staying connected: rediscover the joy of reading; corresponding: sprucing up your signature, reading, writing and communication. October 29:Getting around town: orientation and mobility; information on Braille Institute Classes and low vision rehabilitation consultant appointments.
