Careers in Fashion Design & Apparel Manufacturing

Wednesday, October 20th 7:00 p.m. Interested in fashion design? Wonder how to get started in the field? Want to know exactly what a fashion designer does and do they actually sew? Wonder what is a fashion stylist does? Those thinking of a career change or just starting out are invited to this informative evening with instructor CAMILLE OCHOA. She will present an overview of the apparel industry, the duties and responsibilities of a fashion designer, the educational requirements, and how to jump start your creativity -- something applicable to all artistic endeavors. Camille Ochoa has taught high school and adult programs, always helping students tap into their creativity in a fun program structured around building skill levels through specifically tailored projects. Her colorful miniature dress forms are currently decorating the Crowell Public Library. She has been associated with Pasadena City College and Mount San Antonio College and has been recognized for her exemplary teaching methods.
