Unleash Your Power…READ is the theme for this year’s summer reading program for teenagers. Registration for the program begins Monday, June 20th and is ongoing throughout the summer.
Whatever your super powers are, if you are a middle school or high school student, come in and pick up a reading record. For every book you read this summer you’ll receive a chance ticket that can be entered into a drawing for any one of a number of sweet prizes: a CD player, gift certificates from Tower Records, books, T-shirts, movie tickets, zoo and museum passes, and more. Any 2 chance tickets can be traded out for free rental of one of the library’s videos, and there are even participation prizes!
The prize drawing will be held Monday, August 1st, when the program ends. Winners will be notified by phone, and need not be present to win.
