A DAY AT THE LIBRARY
Free pizza and sodas at the San Marino Public Library? Sure! On
Saturday, March 13, the entire community of San Marino is invited for an extended lunchtime at their local public library. Between
11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Library staff and the Recreation Department will offer lunch and activities throughout the building for San Marinans of all ages and interests. Listen to a story or get your face painted. Have your name written in Chinese characters. Make crafts or go on a library treasure hunt. Listen to Adult Reference Librarians Rex Mayreis and Irene McDermott discuss their favorite new books.
The main event of the day will take place twice, at
noon and at
1:00 p.m. when the
San Marino City Council will talk to their constituents about the new library project and other City matters.
This is your opportunity to learn more about the library, join the Friends support group, meet the staff, and tour the mysterious backstage areas of the building. Come munch and meet your friends and neighbors at the San Marino Public Library!
